I've found that Ele&mo have an easy time leveling by doing the badit&alain combo farm. My monk is leveling rather rapidly. Beyond 9 I'd probably charr farm at the gate then hunt.

Has the addition of charr salvage kits affected the numbers of people involved in presearing farming? Or has it just changed the things that people are buying and selling?
Sorry if this in the wrong thread but this is what I was reading when I thought of it.

people are buying dmg vs charr mods and more and more minor runes and mods nowadays.

and their paying ya 40kish for 18% dmg vs char (pre searing money) or x2 post searing money. It's good idea to watch the purple items u get and seee the dmg. especially for axes, wands (hammers, swds, bows, staff prices drop thx to the bonus pack).

about farming , if ya got the bonus pack ,u can use r/x or war/x they should easily solo charr.
I , myself use E/R + vs charr shield. let ur pet tank, while u nuke them.trool unguents is very useful too. Lure the charr group by using longbow, then make use of the terrains and wall. Hide behind a wall, the axe fiend (charr war) will come to u, kill em. At this point, u'll notice charr hunters cant hit u if u hide behind a wall facing them, but u can still use gylph--> firestorm em to death. So, yeah, u can start soloing the charr bosses as low as lvl 9.

LOL first off CSK = max 5-6k Plus only ppl who do charr death lvling buy those things. 110k a week? i can farm UW solo 210k per week, and i dont need a gate opener LOL!!

40k for +18% vs charr? LOLOL plz do not joke when you trying not to, if some one have 40kish in Pre, why would they need it for? farming more charrs?

First, good job bringing back a dead thread.

Second, a lot of people buy charr salvage kits for about 5k. Convert it to post searing and now you got 10k. If you run to the bosses directly, killing only 1 group of charr in the process, the run takes about 5-6 minutes depending on your level.

Third, Yes we pay 50g to hire a person to open the gate. Oh wait, you pay 1 thousand gold to get into underworld. (as quoted by you) LOL!!

Fourth, a +18% charr mode goes for alot if you visit presearing.com you can look at people actually buyng these for 25k-40k. That converted into post searing gold would be 50k-80k.

Fifth, The only way gold can leave presearing is by going to post. Im sure if someone has accumulated 5k+ in presearing they probably know that they can turn that into 10k+ when going to post. When they do trade for the post gold that presearing gold is just recirculated into the economy and thus people fortunes get larger and larger.

Sixth, if you dont think presaring gold is 2 to 1 to post gold (if not more), try going into pre and buying hunters ale. 1 ale equals 1 point and 1 ale is 50g. 50g per drunken point in pre while in post it is at least 100g.

EDIT: As a final note, here is an auction of a 18% charr damage mod in pre selling for 50k pre gold easy done today 8/12/2007. http://presearing.com/index.php?opti...5&topic=4577.0

lulz

It's...well..decent loot. I haven't gotten a single dye yet. It's awesome for such a low level ldoa wannabe like me.

Wow, that's pretty cool, I had no idea people stayed in pre like that. I had one question, though. When you say that pre gold is worth twice as much as post gold, what does that mean exactly? When you go to post your gold doubles? Items are worth more in post? Pre and post gold are two distinct types of currency? Anyways, I would appreciate it if someone could clarify that for me. Thanks.

You can find alot of people who will trade you 2 post gold to 1 pre gold.
Or if you want to do this yourselves without the risk of another person, buy hunters ale for 50g each in pre. You can easily resell them at 100g per ale in post because they are worth 1 drunken point each.

The +18% vs charr sounds like a weapon mod. I have a R3 Tactics +11, +9vs Charr shield. Ya think I can get anything from it?
And who will trade post gold for pre gold? I have around 85K in pre......any takers?

The +18% vs charr is a weapon mod it can be for the sword axe hammer or bow and goes for alot in pre.

Bruce you probably wanna post that in the sell forums or even high end forums if you want to sell that gold though make sure the other person is a trusty person or use a moderator to insure your trade.
